Fight for Sight and Lirot
to Provide International Summer
Student Fellowships:
Applications Due on December 31st

Fight for Sight
is co-sponsoring its first international awards, two Summer
Student Fellowships in partnership with Lirot, the Israeli research organization for
eye health and blindness prevention. Applications for the 2019 Fight for Sight-
Lirot Summer Student Fellowships are due on or before 12:00 AM on December
31, 2018.

Fight for Sight - Lirot Summer Student Fellowships are available to
undergraduate, graduate and medical students studying in Israel who are
interested in pursuing eye- related clinical or basic research. For most students,
this is their first exposure to eye or vision research and the experience has
resulted in many students choosing academic ophthalmology or eye research as
a full-time career. Two awards of $2,500 (US dollars) will be given for two to
three month projects of full-time eye and vision research. Students receiving
stipends from other sources are generally not eligible.
